Terms of use

Last updated: 28 October 2026

These terms cover minimoji.com, the Minimoji app, the minimoji CLI and the Minimoji API ("Minimoji"), made by Hypersocial Studio (HyperSocial Inc, "we"). By using Minimoji you agree to them. Our privacy policy says what we keep and where it goes.

Your account

You need to be at least 13 to use Minimoji. Keep your sign-in and your API keys to yourself: what is done with them is on you. Tell us at legal@hypersocial.ai if you think someone else has them.

Your content

The avatars you design, the names and status lines you give them and the voice clips you record stay yours. You let us store, render, serve and show them, and send them to the apps you connect, so that Minimoji works. That permission ends when you delete them, except for copies we must keep by law and designs others made too.

Fair use

Don't use Minimoji to:

The API

API keys are free today. The limits on each key, what counts towards them, and the price may change; we will say so on the site first. We may slow, suspend or revoke a key or an account that breaks these terms or puts the service at risk.

The service

Minimoji is provided as it is and as it is available. We work to keep it running and to keep your data safe, but we make no promise that it will always be available, free of errors, or fit a particular purpose. We may change or stop parts of it.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or lost-profit damages, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50 if you paid nothing.

Changes

When these terms change, the date at the top changes with it; if a change matters we will say so before it applies. Questions go to legal@hypersocial.ai.
